Product Description

Aluminum Fiberglass is made of fiberglass with a thin layer of aluminum foil that is laminated. The fabric with a color of silver/tan. It is often used as a flange or vapor shield or for removable insulation pads. The material is resistant to most solvents, acids, and alkali. Mainly used for thermal insulation materials of air conditioning, HVAC equipment pipelines, and sound insulation materials in buildings, rock wool, ultra-fine glass wool protective layer, heat reflective, curtains and shields. The fiberglass can handle temperatures up to 600° F being extremely abrasion resistant. The aluminum foil will withstand temperatures up to 600°F. It utilized in cases where heat must be reflected.
